Empowering Entrepreneurs & Strengthening Small Businesses

Oct 7, 2011 Issues: Economy

Dear Friends,

I’ve always believed that small businesses are the key to America’s recovery.  Small businesses must hire and grow if we are to get our economy moving.

In this economy, small businesses face many significant challenges. Small business owners worry about the rising costs of doing business and how to increase sales, on top of keeping their company strong through the current economic crisis.

I have worked hard to support small businesses by expanding their business opportunities and access to capital. Last Congress, I was proud to support the Small Business Jobs Act, an extremely significant piece of small business legislation.  This law expanded much-needed lending to small businesses and offered tax incentives to help America’s small businesses grow. Unfortunately, many of these provisions are at risk of expiring if this Congress does not act soon.

I want to hear your ideas on how else to continue to engage America’s small business community. Please answer this survey right away.  Your answers will be very helpful as my colleagues and I work to ensure your business can operate and grow.

As always I look forward to hearing your thoughts.  Please don't hesitate to contact me at my Washington, DC office at 202-225-2965, or send me an email through my website, www.lorettasanchez.house.gov.

Very Truly Yours,

Loretta Sanchez
